GARY, Indiana— Burger Planet has joined forces with Jayne Petersen, a recognized authority on fitness in order to promote a healthier lifestyle for consumers. Petersen, who is the owner and president of a multi-million dollar fitness enterprise, has gained recognition through her frequent appearances on the Opal Witcomb Show where she counseled viewers on how to live a healthy lifestyle. She says she is very excited to be working with the company to help people improve their lifestyles.
She says, “[Burger Planet] believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles" a cause which she has devoted her life.
Jayne Petersen was brought in primarily to promote Burger Planet’s new health conscious menu. The menu includes fresh gourmet salads, white meat chicken sandwiches, and options of fruit sides all of which can be modified to suit most mainstream diets.
The collaboration will begin with a kick off ceremony in Times Square on May 12. From there, Petersen, along with Burger Planet’s mascot Corny the Clown will be making a tour of the country’s Burger Planet locations where they will provide customers with information on health.
Since Burger Planet’s establishment in a humble shack in Indianapolis in 1934, it has flourished into an international franchise with nearly 9,000 locations spanning every state in the United States as well as 17 countries. During that time Burger Planet has served 52 billion customers and has been consistently committed to earning their satisfaction.
